Matrescence Ascending: Resilience & Restoration
House Rules & Housing Agreement
Matrescence Ascending is a maternity supportive housing residence operated by Assets Ascending of Georgia. Our home is a safe, substance-free, supportive space for mothers and their children. These rules exist to protect the peace, safety, and dignity of every mother and child who lives here.
Our Community
We are a shared home built on mutual respect. Every resident is expected to treat other mothers, children, staff, and the home itself with care. Discrimination, harassment, violence, or threats of any kind are not tolerated.
Participation
Residents take an active part in programming, which may include parenting support, financial literacy, the healing garden, and regular case management. Working toward your personal goals alongside staff is a core part of living here.
Daily Life
We observe curfew and quiet hours so the home stays restful for everyone, especially the children. Residents help keep shared spaces clean and contribute to the upkeep of their own rooms. Guests and visitors are welcome by prior approval and appointment.
Safety & Home Environment
Our home is substance-free. There is a zero-tolerance policy for drugs or alcohol on the property. For the safety of all residents and children, the property is monitored by surveillance cameras in common and exterior areas. Staff are mandated reporters and are committed to keeping every mother and child safe.
Moving Forward
Program fees are offered on a sliding scale based on your situation. Our goal is to walk with you toward stability and your own independent housing, a steppingstone where every part of the program is designed to help you move forward.
